Of course, we take appropriate technical and organizational measures to best protect your personal information, such as firewalls, encryption and access control to our premises and files. Promt protects your personal privacy, and we work based on applicable laws and regulations for personal data protection.
On May 25, 2018, the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect.

- stricter requirements for consent for minors
- free movement of personal data within the EU
The most important thing about the new law is that you get increased rights to your personal data.
What is personal data?
Personal data is information that can identify an individual, such as name, social security number, telephone number, e-mail address, location data, network identifiers, images or videos.
What is meant by processing of personal data?
Data processing is considered to be any action or combination of actions performed using personal data. Examples of personal data processing that we do at Promt are collection, registration, organization, structuring, storage, processing, modification, reading and use. Restrictions, deletions or destruction are other examples of data processing.
How long does PROMT store personal data?
Promt stores personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which the personal data was collected.
What information does PROMT collect about me?
Promt collects information that helps PROMT provide a service to you, it includes:

• Any documentation relating to submitting a quote (company address)
• Any information linked to orders, agreements or conversations
How will you use my information?
Promt needs to know a bit about you in order to provide you with information and quotations in line with this overall policy. We will not collect more information than we need to provide our services to you.
Your data protection rights
You have the right to request that PROMT provide information about the personal data that PROMT has used and saved and gain access to this personal data. You also have the right to request that incorrect personal data be corrected or that your personal data be deleted. You also have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted, which means that you request that PROMT restricts the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

You also have the right to data portability (transfer of your personal data to another personal data controller) if PROMT´’s processing of your personal data is based on consent or fulfilment of an agreement and is automated.
You also have the right to make the complaints you may have regarding Promt’s processing of your personal data to a supervisory authority.
You have the right to request access to your personal data. You also have the right to request that Promt correct or delete personal data about you, or limit the processing of this data. You can also object to Promt’s processing of personal data about you, or request data portability. Note, however, that Promt will not always have an obligation to meet deletion and restriction requests, objections, or data portability.
Assessments of these rights and Promt’s legal obligations will be made in each individual case.
How do we protect your personal data?
We have established security procedures, technical measures and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Furthermore, we have firewalls and antivirus programs to prevent intrusion. Access to the spaces where personal data is stored is limited.
Promt’s website uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) which is a protocol for the secure transmission of data via the Internet (or other networks). You need to make sure that SSL is not turned off in the browser settings. This means that the information you send via our contact form is encrypted and remains private.
At promt.se, cookies from Google Analytics are used to measure visitor statistics.
Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the site analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of the site will be transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
On promt.se, IP anonymization is enabled. This means that your IP address will be shortened within the area of the Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the entire IP address be transferred to a Google server in the United States and shortened there.
Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this site in order to evaluate your use of the website, compile site activity reports for the site operators, and provide them with other services related to site activity and internet usage.
